Absolutely wonderful experience! It was our first time there and my husband and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary. When we were seated, our server, Cali, brought us champagne and a card signed by the staff there! The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. We would highly recommend the restaurant. 5 stars!

Popped in for brunch will exploring Shem Creek and very glad we did. Emily our server was very welcoming and hospitable. Loved her! The potato caviar was insane, legit wipe the plate clean worthy! Holy hell. The local shrimp cocktail was on point. So fresh! Use that habanero hot sauce with the cocktail sauce for that really nice punch. We got the catch of the day with the red wine burgundy butter. Omfg drench me in the sauce. The burgundy mushrooms with the best duo for that dish. Wow! Seriously this place is for seafoodies.

Nice atmosphere and friendly service. The food was delicious and presented beautifully! If I had to knit pick, the only thing that was missing is just a light toast on the bread with a little butter or olive oil but otherwise beautiful delicious dishes!!

My girlfriend and I had a vacation date night to remember at Nico! The parking could have been a problem, but we got the last available spot after circling the block once. The hostess who sat us was friendly! Our server - Alex, I think was his name - was super nice and very attentive. After asking him once to refill our water, he quickly became more tuned-in to drink refills throughout our time there (we love our water)! The food runners were quick and confident in their abilities! My girlfriend enjoyed her French onion soup, and I loved my potato au gratin. It was a great deal, and I had some extra to bring home. For the entrees, I got the duck confit, and she ordered the chicken. We both enjoyed our meals but agreed everything was so heavy. That's just French food for you, I suppose. This resulted in some more leftovers for later. Yum! The easy highlight of our meal was the baked Alaska! It was my first time having one, and it was perfect! A skilled food runner hand torched it for us. Thank you, Nico team!

Such a great spot for a celebration or special occasion meal! The staff are always excellent from the host to the waiters and runners. Parking is tough around Shem Creek so highly recommend using a ride share but they do validate for some of the paid parking. Recent favorite menu items were the whole red snapper, Lowcountry Cups oysters, sea scallops and lyonaise salad. Inside is comfortable and doesn't get too loud. Outside is great in the shoulder seasons.

LOVEEEEE this place! First time here and the food was absolutely delicious. We started with the escargot. SO yummy with the most delicious chive butter oil goodness. Can't think of a better way to start the meal. Just when I thought it couldn't get any better ... it did! The fire roasted grouper was cooked to perfection with a red wine reduction sauce. Soooo good!! The star of the show was the bouillabaisse. I will never stop dreaming about this seafood brothy goodness. I can't wait for the day I get to come back here. Highly recommend!!! Our waitress was awesome! She even allowed us to purchase just one oyster to try. (Decided I'm not the biggest fan of oysters so thank goodness she graced us with this privilege.) Outdoor patio was a little warm but offered a quiet environment. Perfect for date night!

We booked here on reading reviews. The food was outstanding. I had the scallops, French onion soup and creme Brule. My husband had salad and grouper. He said it was delicious. We also had roasted oysters. The reason I am holding back 1 star is because of a few mishaps. 1. The waiter forgot to place our order for the roasted oysters, so we got them after a ling wait and I asked if our oysters were still coming. 2. He took away my husband's utensils and never brought back any. So when my husband's food was served we had to wait to get someone's attention to get his utensils. The ambiance is nice. We would definitely return.

Absolutely everything from here is amazing. I have yet to try a dish or drink that didn't satisfy. The staff is always friendly and prompt, note that they make everything in a small wood fired oven so you need to order everything at one. Both indoor and outdoor seating are beautiful. Here are some must tries: The octopus The beef tartare Artichoke and Crab dip

We were seated at the bar and were greeted right away by the bartender. He was very nice and super helpful with our menu choices. We ordered the artichoke crab dip, gnocchi, and the baked oysters with bread crumbs and garlic. All were very tasty and fresh! Our check got mixed up, but we were compensated for their mistake. This was my first time here and everything was great! I would like to try the French onion soup next time I am back in the Charleston area visiting family. It's a super cute spot next to all the Shem Creek area. I recommend trying if you like seafood and French food!

Still dreaming about Nico. High end seafood is an understatement. Our group basically ordered the whole menu! I got the caviar oyster it was refreshing and presentation 10/10 the tuna oyster was also so good that I had to get the tuna tartare appetizer. Hands down one of the best tartares and good portion size. We could've done without the cauliflower side it was ok but not the best item on the menu- the potato gratin on the other hand we had to take some to go. The cheese was melted and potato's cooked to perfection. My main dish was the swordfish which was the fish of the day. They had tons of specials but this was without a doubt such a great choice. Some places overcooked swordfish and it gets dry but this was juicy and moist. 12/10 service, food, experience. I only wish I lived here so I could come back weekly.
